Sothzine has just posted a smoking review on our very own Syphilis Sauna's newest net release, "There Inside" on Decisive Sound this is a free download and we'd encourage any of you fans of the dark trashtronica to check it out !

Aural Pressure has just reviewed three Backwards Records releases on their website, we have them posted on ours as well in the press reviews section. Please check them out and see how brutal the critics can be to those of us who make music. Syphilis Sauna and L.A.M.P. both had reviews, as well as the complilation cd A Tribe Called Glitch.

08/07/06: WE have updated the LIVE page to reflect upcoming No Tomorrow dates , also we have just recieved a great review s for William Willards :Fragments of the hole and Electric Sheherd - An Audio Tribute TO PKD (see Press review section for that ) we are also proud to announce that Backwards NW in conjunction with agents Penetration Camp , will be putting on Meth Fest 2006 , and though none but a few of us (ahem SS) actually use the substance for anything but mind blowing sex . we can promise that our intentions are "clean" and also that the entire three days will be jam packed with harsh abrasive noise and maybe some good ole fashioned 190 bpm polka (please see the live page for more details as the occur) and finally Syphilis Sauna , and Biaxial Creep have started plotting their tour of the western united states more details as they develop.

Empty Zen Cd Release in sight and other activities by the agents of evil: Empty Zen will be releasing their first Backwards Records NW LP in August. We are really excited to see this duo of talented noise makers release through NW. Expect to see more live shows and promotions for these guys. L.A.M.P. has just dropped the dj part of his name and is mastering the new album as we speak. Penetration Camp is also keeping busy working on their new body of work, which will be released here as well.
